Evaluating the Material Removal Rate (MRR) is an indicator of the efficiency of a cut. This is a combination of depth-of-cut, width-of-cut, and feed rate. The increased power of our 8.7 HP (6.5 kW) Spindle / VFD system allows for higher MRRs and increased production.
Comparison tests were conducted in maple hardwood with a PRO Series CNC machine, NEMA 34 motors, and an Amana RC-2241 1.5" tool. Chipload was set to the tool manufacturer's recommended maximum of 0.008 inches per tooth.

Our 4 HP (3 kW) Plug and Play Spindle / VFD System is a production-level cutting solution that offers a significant capability upgrade over a standard router by providing a true 4 HP of cutting power, allowing for faster and deeper cuts.

The t-slots on the axis conform to a standard 40mm pitch, and are compatible with our entire range of Router and Spindle Mounts

We've partnered with Vectric, maker of the incredibly popular VCarve Pro and Aspire CNC design software products, to make our standing desk project available. This time we are going beyond offering the project sources and resources to help people reproduce it, we are actively looking to moderate a community design effort on Vectric's V&CO forum to improve the design and show off the results at the 2018 Vectric User Group Meeting in Chicago, IL.
